Welcome to our new website! We hope you like our new look and improved features. We'd like thank our GCPS web design team for their expertise, creativity, and patience. We worked hard to design a welcoming environment for you to view our videos and see what's new at our channel. Our Story

GCPS TV is a nationally recognized and award-winning educational access channel operated by the Broadcast and Distance Learning Department of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). Our station’s reach includes over 300,000 households in Gwinnett County, via cable broadcast partners AT&T, Charter and Comcast; as well as over 170,000 students throughout the GCPS system. GCPS TV is also streamed live over the internet.

Our Studio

GCPS TV's state-of-the-art HD digital facility is fully positioned and equipped to meet the rapidly expanding communication needs of Gwinnett County's school system. Our advanced technological capabilities and services include field, studio, and live video production; videoconferencing; satellite downlinks; and closed circuit television.

Our Programs

GCPS TV programs include: Focus Moments, In5ive, ArtStage, The Author in You, English…Yes, I Can!, Spanish for Educators, ParentVision, and Love That Book. We also cover live events and produce professional development videos and digital learning modules.

Our Awards

In June 2010, GCPS TV was honored with its first EMMY award for What Is the School Effect? The award was presented by the Southeast Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences. In 2011, 2013, and 2014, GCPS TV was again recognized by the academy, earning a total of 4 EMMYs for its popular children’s program Love That Book

At GCPS TV, we are driven by our passion to tell the good news stories of our GCPS school system. Our goal continues to be finding and developing educational programming to enhance student achievement, while also providing quality learning opportunities for our schools and community.
