The Gwinnett County Board of Education serves as the governing body of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). Board members are elected on a staggered basis. Gwinnett’s School Board consists of five members, each of whom represent a different geographic district. They serve four-year terms. Gwinnett School Board district boundaries and school cluster lines are not the same.

School Board meetings typically are held on the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. The School Board meets at the school system’s Instructional Support Center, located at 437 Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee.
