Active Employees of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) have a special opportunity to prepare for a secure and successful retirement. GCPS Retirement Savings Plans offer two plans to help you save for a comfortable retirement.
New to the School District?
As a part of employment with the School District, beginning on July 1, 2011, new full-time employees are automatically enrolled in a Retirement Savings Plan. Read the Gwinnett Notice for Automatic Enrollment.

The Gwinnett Board of Education approved VALIC as the exclusive record keeper and investment provider for contributions to the Retirement Savings Plans. Here's VALIC's contact information.
Want to Enroll or Make Changes?
Employees can enroll in a Retirement Savings Plan, elect changes to contributions of an existing plan, or access plan information by using the website software provided by the School District called Retirement Manager.
