The PSAT/NMSQT is funded by the State of Georgia for 10th graders. 9th and 11th grade students may participate by paying for the assessment. Students register for the assessment at their local High School.

New this year, Gwinnett 8th graders take the PSAT 8/9, a version designed for younger students that identifies what they need to work on in high school to be ready for college after graduation. PSAT 8/9 replaces the IOWA Assessments for GCPS 8th graders.
