Gwinnett County Public Schools believes that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. It is our goal to support you in bringing the classroom to your living room. Each Title I school has a parent support contact who will help you in promoting the academic achievement of your child. Your local school's Parent Center offers resources and materials for you to checkout for use at home. Your child’s school has developed an important document called The Plan/The Promise. The Plan outlines activities that will be held throughout the year to strengthen the partnership between you and school personnel. The Promise shows how you, your child, and the school share the responsibility for working together to meet a schoolwide learning goal. Please check your school’s website frequently to find ways that you can be engaged to support your child’s academic success.
