Academic Support-Mentoring
The Office of Academic Support collaborates with school leadership staff to identify students who are potential candidates for participation in the GCPS Community-based Mentoring Program. The directors also network with community-based agencies and organizations to recruit adults who want to serve as mentors. Another role involves providing support for other district programs and initiatives that are designed to promote academic rigor for identified students.
