Jeff Hall, Principal of Maxwell High School of Technology

Jeff Hall, the principal at Maxwell High School of Technology, is the 2018 Trade and Industrial Educators of Georgia (TIEGA) Administrator of the Year. The award commemorates exceptional individuals who have contributed to the success of Career and Technical Education, (CTE) through the quality of their work and their involvement in the CTE community.

Hall says receiving the award was unexpected. “I am both humbled and grateful to be considered for such an honor,” Hall said. “I immediately thought of my staff, and how this award is truly a reflection of their dedication to making Maxwell such a wonderful place to educate our students. I am incredibly happy as this award recognizes the great things happening at Maxwell.”

Hall will be recognized for the award in July at the Georgia Association of Career and Technical Education (GATCE) Summer Conference. He also has been nominated for the GACTE Administrator of the Year Award.

Hall says he and his staff look forward to continuing the important work they do every day. He adds, “Providing career and technical education (CTE) is invaluable to our society and daily lives. The programs we provide reflect career fields that, cannot be outsourced, and serve as the backbone of a strong economy. Industry is in high demand for highly skilled employees and citizens, and CTE certainly answers the call of industry,” Hall said.
