Central Gwinnett High School wins STEAM Grant

Central Gwinnett HS students, teachers, and administrators stand with grant award

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (February 22, 2017) – The Infinite Energy STEAM Education Grants were recently announced and among the winners was Central Gwinnett High School. The Central Gwinnett Fine Arts and STEM Academies were awarded $7,500 to develop a program called Staging STEM. The Staging STEM program will be a series of workshops that will teach science standards through arts-related lessons and activities. The Central Gwinnett teachers and students will work with Aurora Theatre teaching artists to develop and execute the Staging STEM program. The Staging STEM program will roll out to local elementary schools in the Fall of 2017.   


The Infinite Energy STEAM Education Grants support innovation and creativity in the classrooms of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
