With fall comes the chance for schools in Gwinnett to compete for coveted funding in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through the Infinite Energy STEAM Education Grants to local schools.

The grants are open to all 139 public schools in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). To date, Infinite Energy has given back more than $88,000 to Gwinnett County schools.

Infinite Energy STEAM Education Grants are funded by customer support of the company’s giveback program. Funds available for teachers grow every time a community member takes advantage of the exclusive offers for GCPS friends and family.

Infinite Energy customers can receive a discount on natural gas service by using the code “GCPS” when enrolling or updating records. Customers taking advantage of the GCPS rate on the 12-month fixed rate plan (55.9 cents per therm) receive a $10 Gift Card, and $5 is given back to Gwinnett County Public Schools. Customers taking advantage of the 24-month fixed rate (54.9 cents per therm) will receive a $25 Gift Card, as well as the $5 give back. The 60-month option (53.9 cents per therm) offers a $50 Gift Card, plus $10 goes back to area schools.

“It’s a pleasure to recognize local schools for innovative projects supporting all of the STEAM fields,” said Jason Dolder, vice president of sales and marketing at Infinite Energy. “Infinite Energy would like to be able to contribute even more to these programs each year, and our Gwinnett County customers can make that happen.”
