Mill Creek High School to honor military and first responders before football game

image of logos of all U.S. branches of military service and emergency first responders     On Friday, September 28, Mill Creek High School will host a Service Appreciation Night prior to the school’s highly anticipated football game against Peachtree Ridge High School. Prior to the game, members of the U.S. Army Silver Wings Parachute team are scheduled to jump and land on the football field. The evening also will feature a law enforcement and first responder equipment display. In addition, the Mill Creek High DECA Club will sell t-shirts, donating a portion of the proceeds to the Gwinnett County Police Department Scholarship Fund.

     Active or retired members of the U.S. military, law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, and all other local state and federal emergency service personnel will be granted free admission to the game with valid identification.
