Coleman Middle School has been named a finalist in the 8th annual STEM Education Awards competition. Sponsored by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and TAG Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed), the STEM Education Awards honor Georgia schools, programs, and companies for supporting efforts and achievements in promoting science, technology, engineering, and math education (STEM) throughout the state.
Coleman Middle is one of three finalists in the “Middle School” division. The award recognizes innovative STEM curriculum and programs in middle schools that promote STEM Education in the classroom and expand STEM skills while helping to point students towards productive technology-related careers. The winner will be announced at the Eighth Annual STEM Education Awards banquet on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the Loudermilk Conference Center located at 40 Courtland Street, NE in Atlanta.
