Some award-winning Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) educators have partnered with Live Healthy Gwinnett and Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation to host a weekend event to support Gwinnett families.

Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., GCPS Teachers of the Year (TOTY) will host a contact-free Sanitation/PPE Donation Drive at several Gwinnett County locations. The educators are asking for donations of the following items:

  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Disinfectant Spray
  • Hand Soap
  • Disinfectant Wipes
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Tissues
  • Masks
  • Bottled Water
  • Gloves

Collection sites are set up at the Lilburn City Library, Rhodes Jordan Park, Collins Hill Park, Rabbit Hill Park, and Bay Creek Park. The donated items will be distributed by Co-ops in Gwinnett County.

If you are interested in taking part in the no-contact PPE drive, please put donations in the trunk of your car and stay in the car when you arrive at the donation site. GCPS TOTY volunteers, wearing masks and gloves, will remove the items from your trunk.
