Gwinnett students earn GAGE honors, scholarships

Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education honors students

April 3, 2019

The Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education (GAGE) has named its 2019 award and scholarship winners. In addition to naming the GAGE Gifted Students of the Year, the organization awarded $100 scholarships to five students. Two students received $500 scholarships— the Ruth Cowan and Annette Eger scholarships, named after premiere gifted educators who worked in Gwinnett. Dr. Kelli McCain, principal of Partee Elementary School, was named the organization’s Administrator of the Year and Nicole Lore, an educator at Mason Elementary School, won the GAGE Elementary School Teacher of the Year title. In addition, Kathy Marks won the Hughes Award, which salutes an individual, club, business, corporation, or civic group who made an outstanding contribution to the school district’s gifted program.
