Register Now: Focus Groups on the Strategic Priorities for 2020-2030
Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is committed to becoming a system of world-class schools and to helping its students fulfill their promise. In order to ensure that our strategic direction puts us on the path to do that, we need to understand our community’s perspectives and priorities and incorporate that feedback into our planning for the future. That’s why the district is inviting all stakeholders — students, parents and guardians, employees, and community members — to participate in focus groups that will provide information that will be used in the development of its Strategic Priorities for 2020-2030.
Focus groups will be held February 19-21. This is an opportunity for stakeholders to have a candid discussion about the 10 components of our current (2010-2020) Strategic Priorities and what characteristics and components will move the district forward over the next 10 years.
Interested stakeholders should register for the focus groups by February 11, using the appropriate link:
- Parents, guardians, and community members: https://survey.k12insight.com/r/GCPS2030
- Employees: https://survey.k12insight.com/r/gcps2030staff
Independent research firm K12 Insight is working with the district during this process and will randomly select participants from registrants. High school students will be invited to participate based on a recommendation from their schools. K12 Insight will facilitate the focus groups and compile the results, ensuring confidentiality of participants and their responses. Final reports will include only overall findings and themes, not individual responses.
For more information about the focus groups, please contact Sloan Roach, executive director of Communication and Media Relations, at email@example.com.
